Sheptytsky Study Days (Univ. of Toronto, Canada): “The Gifts of Monasticism”

Fri. June 19 – Sun. June 21, 2026 Sister Vassa will be speaking at the “Study Days” of the Metropolitan Andriy Sheptytsky Institute of Eastern Christian Studies at the University of Toronto . Every summer, the Sheptytsky Institute offers “Study Days,” a public-facing conference which brings together intellectuals, Eastern Christian religious leaders and faithful for a weekend of prayer,  study, and fellowship. This year’s theme is “The Gifts of Monasticism.”  Sister Vassa will speak on the topic of “Freedom vs Obedience? The Challenge of Liberty in Contemporary Monastic & Non-Monastic Contexts.” Some previous years can be seen in the link below.
