Russ. Byz. Catholic Global Congress (Velehrad, Czech Republic): Eastern Christianity & the Wounds of History

Monday to Friday, June 1 to 5, 2026, Sister Vassa will speak at the Russian Byzantine Catholic Global Congress, dedicated in 2026 to the theme: Eastern Christianity and the Wounds of History: Faith, Hope, and Witness in a Fractured World. Here is the description of the Congress from the organizers: “Once again we are engaging both Orthodox and Catholic thinkers to guide us as we assess the place of our Church in today’s world. But along with formal presentations we aim to give all of our communities the opportunity to voice their own concerns , and problems, as well as to share their blessings and opportunities.”
